This 7"h x 5"w painting of Chickory that I photographed along the railroad tracks (beside an organic dairy farm just a miles from my house) is part of a series of smaller paintings that I completed in 2020. Some of these smaller paintings I did because the beauty of the plant just called to me and I just had fun painting it. Some of these little paintings were experiments, a step up from thumbnails sketches, to see if I wanted to persue a landscape I came across or to see if colors worked together for a larger painting.
I love that offering these smaller pieces makes owning an original painting within reach for more people.
Framed in an 8" x 10" white frame with a white matting.
